Is Silarah a dating app?

No. Silarah is designed for adults seeking serious Muslim matrimonial introductions. Product choices focus on compatibility, intention and respectful pacing.

Who can join?

Adults aged 18 or older who are legally able to marry and are seeking a serious matrimonial introduction.

Is Silarah available worldwide?

No. This release is available only to adults in India on Android. Other countries and iOS are not supported in this release.

How does verification work?

Photo verification uses an easy look, smile and blink guide followed by human comparison with the current profile photo. Temporary captures are deleted after review and within 48 hours. It is not legal identity verification and no government ID or face template is used.

Can a wali or guardian participate?

Optional guardian tools can support family involvement where enabled. Guardian access is transparent and does not transfer control of an adult member's account.

Are profile photos private?

You can choose visibility for everyone, after mutual interest, or by individual request.

How do I report someone?

Use the in-app block and report controls from a profile or conversation. Email safety@silarah.com for additional help.

How much is Silarah Premium?

Can women message for free?

Yes. Women can read and send messages after a mutual match without a subscription. Men need active Premium to send. Silarah uses verified email and does not require a phone number or KYC.

Is an iPhone app coming?

Yes, iOS is planned after the Android launch is stable and App Store preparation is complete. No public release date is promised yet.

How do I delete my account?

Use Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or start a request through the public account-deletion page.
